About Me

Just like LA, I am multicultural and multilingual. My mom is from Guatemala. My dad is from El Salvador. And my slang is Mexican.In high school I started learning Mandarin Chinese and that lead me to studying abroad for a year in Beijing and Harbin, China.I earned bachelors in Chemistry (2017), Chemical Engineering (2019), and then my masters in Engineering Management (2020).During that time, my cofounder Deep and I started DemiTool, a time management tool for busy people to live balanced lives. By helping busy people balance their lives, they will live better lives and can better support their families.I became a tour guide to pay my student loans. 1 year and many months later, I am happy to say that this job has brought me a ton of joy. I have met many wonderful people from all over the world.I love sharing my city with new people. I want you to love this city as much as I do.
